Introduction
Experienced teachers in primary and secondary schools are now invited to apply for admission to the captioned Courses for the 2011 - 2012 intake. The Centre for Educational Leadership at the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong, is one of the Institutions commissioned by Education Bureau to organize the Course. The medium of instruction will be English.
The Course consists of:
(1) Needs Analysis
a) Pre-analysis
b) Analysis Day (1 day)
(2) Taught Modules (12 hours each)
a) Policy and Political Environment
b) Quality Assurance and Accountability
c) Learning, Teaching and Curriculum
d) Strategic Leadership
e) Staff and Resources Management
f) Teacher Professional Growth and Development
(3) School Improvement Activities and Additional Workshops
a) Action Research for School Improvement (6 hours)
